· BIOGRAPHY

Heng Jiang is a doctoral candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

His research focuses on the neural mechanisms of emotion regulation across healthy, clinical, and high-risk populations. He uses a range of neuroimaging and electrophysiological approaches, including naturalistic fMRI, EEG, functional connectivity, and multivariate analyses, to investigate emotion regulation. His work spans fundamental mechanisms, clinical dysfunction, and neuromodulation, with his recent PhD research focusing on emotion regulation abnormalities in adolescents with non-suicidal self-injury.
